as soon as Koda reached the cliffs he lept onto a rock jutting out and went into a cave through the rock. solid rock. he hid the crystal and walked efortlessly out of the cave through the mettle rock and lept off the ledge to find Autumn*
Kira sniffed the air, trying to detect any scents of prey. Suddenly she jumped backwards in alarm as two wolves, not from her pack, came crashing out of the bushes snarling. "ATTACK! WE'RE BEING ATTACKED!!!!!!!!!!" Kira howled the alarm and streaked back towards the camp, the two wolves hot on her tail.
Dusk had the wolf hurt badly so he let the wolf run away back to where it came from. Then he turned and saw the other wolf attacking Tarmo and Tarmo had a broken leg. ~Dusk
The two wolves were shrieking with pain, anger and fear. "Stop! Stop! We're friends!!!" one howled, staggering away from Tarmo. It was a pretty female with Hazel eyes. The other was a male and he was gasping for air, blood pouring from his wounds. "We're.......friends......!" he gasped before he collapsed to the ground. "Zadahr!" the female gave a panic stricken yelp as Zadahr collapsed. "Help him! Please!" she cried as she stood rooted to the ground, staring at her companion. ---------------(same time)------------ Kira skidded to a halt. 'how could I be so stupid?!' she gaped at herself as she realized she could have killed the pups. She stared as the wolves began to speak.
"How do we know? You could be saying that just to get to our camp and then kill the rest of the pack? We don't know so state your reason now." Dusk looked at Tarmo to make sure that he had done the right thing. ~Dusk
The female's eyes were wide. "HE NEEDS A HEALER! HE'S GOIGN TO DIE IF HE DOESN'T!!" she shrieked at Dusk and Tarmo. "We're friends. we were chased out of our territory by a enemy pack and one of their pack had been chasing us. We saw that wolf *she nodded to Kira* and were trying to tell her what was happening and ask if she was from a defferent pack when she bolted. Now you've shredded my m-mate without even...even *her voice began to crack.* nobody even thinks before they attack us. Just attack! Why can't there be peace..? Oh, Zadahr!" she flung herself down by her mate as he whispered softly- "Tahlko....Tahlko.....Tah-...." he fell into uncontiousness..
Treefrog trotted out of the shadows, where she had been hid when she arrived at the scene, just as the fighting had ended. She looked at the female. "It seems as though you are not to far from killing one of our wolves. Tarmo is terribally wounded, possibly for life. How can we be sure your not an enemy?" Her bright green eyes survayed the scene carefully.
(((((*notice YOU had my wolves attack Tarmo...but whatever...*)))))) "it was self defense! He was would have killed me! He almost killed Zadahr!" Kazrah yelped fiercly. "He NEEDS a HEALER!!" she howled loudly. "LOOK AT HIM! BLOOD IS COVERING HIM AND HE'S DYING!!!"
Kazrah snarled at Treefrog, bristling all over. Her teeth were long and sharp and it was clear, although female, she could inflict great damage. "Listen. We have been chased from territory to territory. Chased out, territory taken from us. Everything. I tried to get help from your pack and was fighting in self defense and you act as if I marched into your camp and killed your pups!!" she sat bristling and heaving, lips still curled in a snarl.
------------(same Time)-----Shalko slowed to a trot. The fighting noise had stopped a moment ago and he wondered what was happening. Then a thougt struck him. What if the Hunting Pack had been seriously hurt? What was going on..? he broke into a run again, ready to attack.
"You jumped out at us snarling, what were we supposed to think?!?" Treefrog snarled, barring her fangs. She knew she was a well-trained fighter and could take out Kazrah if she wanted to.
"Rahhh!! Well We're NOT enemy's and-" she highlighted each word, "MY MATE NEEDS HELP!! I'll leave as soon as you fix what you've broken!" she snarled, taking a step forward in a threatning manner. "beings how you DID start it..." she snarled softly.
Treefrog growled, "Well, if you want your mate healed, you'd better be carefull. OUr healer is missing, and as far as I can tell, I am the only other wolf here who knows healing, due to my birth pack. If you fight me, your mate WILL die."
"You...." Kazrah spluttered, looking for words powerful enough to express her rage. "IF MY MATE DIES..!!!!" she snalrled she threw herself forwards, teeth bared and hackles raised. "Kazrah!!" a flash of brownish grey streaked over and knocked Kazrah to the ground. "Kazrah...Would you go so low...?" Shalko stood, his fur blowing gently in the mild wind, his eyes burning with some expression..something between hatred and love...
Treefrog snarled at Shalko and Karzah, "Get off of her. Kazrah, if you make another move tawreds any of my pack, I will walk away and let your mate die.
Tarmo watched the fight, his vision blurring, his wounds bleeding heavily, feeling his life drain away.He knew he didnt have to much longer unless he got medical attention, but refused to interupt Treefrog.
Zadahr awakened groggily. His wounds were still bleeding freely and he moaned in pain... ------------------------------------------- "Kazrah. I made a promise....don't make me regret it. Get up and let her help Zadahr. And stop threatening Treefrog!" he snarled as she gave a snarl at the small black wolf. Kazrah dipped her head in submission. "Just save him...don't let him die!" she whispered.
Treefrog nodded, and turned to Shalko. "Get me long, stong ferns and cobwebs." She sniffed, and quickly found some herbs, and applied them to both Zadahr and Tarmo. She glared at Kazrah the entire time, as if daring her to attack.
"Wipe that smirk that smirk off your face!" snapped Kazrah suddenly. Shalko cuffed her over the head and then turned too Treefrog. he tried to avoid eye contact and spoke quietly. "She's a...friend of mine..I swore to protect her...........That's all....." he turned and ran towards the deeper forest to collect suplies for the wounded.
Treefrog growled quietly to herslef. "I dont care how good a frind she is to anybody, if she makes one move tawred me, she'll get some pretty good scars/" she countinued her work, trying to recall what she learned as a healer trainee in her old pack.
"Well, im the only trained Healer within saving distance of you mate." Treefrog replied, and stopped working on Zadahr before she was done, moving to Tarmo and focusing only on him.
"You low-down..----RAHH!!!" Kazrah was filled with rage. She hurled herself at the smaller black wolf and sank her teeth into her neck. she felt blood pour from a new wound and she began to kick and claw her as hard as she could.
Treefrog fought back, leaping out of the way of some of her attacks. She grabbed Kazrah by the nack, refusing to let go, feeling the blood pour from the other she-wolf's neck.
"Stop! We can't fight at a time like this. We have Sunset missing, Treefrog, you are the only healer but I know Bracken, one of Night's pups wants to be a healer so train him for a moon so he can be at camp and shoot!" Then Dawn saw Treefrog dieing. ~Dawn
"Dawn can you run back to camp or Shalko go to camp, run tell Spirit, Tell and Night that we have to have help now or Treefrog, Tarmo and your friend." Dusk nodded to Kazrah's friend."Can die at any second, see if you can have them bring Bracken and tell Night and Tell, that he might be the only wolf, even if he is a pup that he could save them. Then we'll decide what to do." Dusk looked from Shalko to Dawn. ~Dusk
**Shalko Was in the Forest...remember..? To get more supplies?**
Kazrah jumped to her paws, blood covered her but she wasn't yelping because of that. On the ground, near Treefrog, and between Kazrah, was a huge coiled up Dimondback Rattlesnake. It had struck Kazrah on the head and now it was moving back and forth, staring into the eyes of Treefrog. Kazrah stumbled backwards, leaving a trail of blood as she attemped to get out of the snake's range of striking distance. The snake struck again before she was far enough and got her on the neck. Kazrah shrieked again and fell to the groun. The snake began to slither towards her....
-------------------------------- Shalko came rushing back, hearing the scream and howls of agony. "WHATS GOING ON!?!?" he shouted as the ighting stopped. Then as Kazrah got up he saw the Snake... "Hey, you!!*refering to Dusk* The Snake!" Shalko yelped as Dusk almost trodded on it. He leaped over and landed neatly on the flatned slithering snake, it twisted ot free itself but Shalko had another trick up his paw. He quickly did something to the snake, out of sight of the others and suddenly it was dead. Not even twitching like usuall. He then turned around, looking embarressed and completely humiliated at another encounter with the new pack he had joined. He gritted his teeth and dragged Kazrah up to her feet. "Listen, Foxbrain! You've caused me enough trouble and...trouble! I made that idiotic promise and if you dont keep your stupid powers to yourself...I don't know what I'll do! Look what you've done! Injured many wolves from my new pack and almost gone and killed yourself and your mate! Get a grip, will you!?" he snarled in her face as she glared up at him defiantly. "Just because you-" he voice broke. "You think it's easy to control it? You have it too! You know what it's like!! I can't help it!" she shouted back at him as tears poured down her face. "Listen, Kazrah....they can't know!" he whispered, barley audable. "Just..try. For me..." he whispered again. "I'm going back to your..the camp. I'll get..Spirit and return quickly as possible!" he then whirled around, coat gleaming and mucles rippling. His long fur swept back by the wind. And then his large powerful paws took him speeding accross the ground at an incredible pace for a wolf. And then...he was gone... Kazrah stared at the ground for a moment and then finally looked up. "Treefrog............I'm sorry....I really am.." she whispered, her eyes full of tears, along with scincerity.
Treefrog had sat down, dizzily, rocking slightly. She tried to focus on Kazrah, then Dusk and Dawn. "Leave." se told them sakily. After they left, she tried to focus back on Karzah. "You have powers too?" she asked, her voice sounding distant.
**YESSS!!! I WAS SO BADLY HOPING YOU WOULD GO ALONG WITH MY IDEA!!!!!!! Did you have plans for this too?!***
Kazrah nodded solemnly. "C-..Can i trust you..?" she whispered. Then, realizing that sounded stupid she said quietly, "Shalko and I met a long time ago. We both were only pups and found out we had secret powers. Our parents hadn't wanted to tell us until we could control them, and so when we found out, she had to explain everything. When my mother was brutally beaten, she made Shalko promise to protect me. He did. He may seem very distant, pridefull and irritated, but he is..." her eyes lit up and love and admeration shone in them. "We loved each other....But we couldn't be mates. Zadahr met me and we became friends. My mother was already dead and we had to pretend that Shalko was my brother. I began to love Zadahr, and now he is my mate..." she finished while stying to stop the blood flow from her neck.
Treefrog nodded, still seeming dizzy. "When I was young, in my birth pack, I found out that my family had powers. at first, Nothing really happened, but my mother and father trained me and my two brothers secretly. We elearned to use out powers, but I still became a healer apprentice. One day, some how, our secret came out. My mother, father, aunt, cousins, and brothers were killed, but the Alpha had taken a liking to me, and wanted me to train as his apprentice and one day become the alpha female. The alpha male was brutal, and I hated him, so I ran. I trained for a while, then came here." Treefrog said this all quickly and quietly, her mussles tense, but she still looked dizzy.
*****lol! I didn't really, PLAN but I was like, 'ya know what.....! What the heck!!' I was hoping you wouldn't tell me off for putting like, magical powers in the story. :) By the way....I'm not even sure WHAT powers they have!!******* Kazrah slowly grinned. "I guess we do have something in common..! We need to get healed up..Oh..On eof my powers is that....I...I sort of have....multipule lives... I can't....die very easily...And I am a natural fighter. I don't have to train......Most of the time it's just pretending... What about you?"
Treefrog looked slightly nervous. "I kind of have many powers, I guess. I cna fight any wolf and beat them, and water heals me. And i can kind of heal others with water too, sometimes, but I cant usually to not raise suspision." she looked around for a second, and pulled herself over to a tint trickling creek on the edge of the clearing. SHe dipped her paw in it, and her wounds slowly began to heal.
(((((((Ha! Waiting for me to take the first step..? Allriiiiiight....=]))))
Kazrah stared. "I can do something simalar!" she dippepd her paw in water and then spread dirt on it. Instanly she then smudged the mud off of her paw and the fur around her legfur began blowing as if a gentle wind was blowing. It spread up her leg and then all of her was blowing She struck an impressive figure, her fur blowing in invisible wind, her eyes fierce. The wind got fiercer and then it stopped. All her wounds were healed and the matted clots of blood had gone. He fur didn't even look as if it had been in a wind storm and the blood that was hers, had left the ground, grass standing where she had trampled it...everything. She then gave a small smile at Treefrog. "I can chose what I want it to do. I can't control the fighting power though. I will get a powerfull urge, a protective urge. It makes me a terrible...enemy. I get the most protective..It's like..the protectiveness..as If I was protecting pups. Like that protectivness." she smiled again. "And we were both thinking we could obviously beat each other." she was grinning again. ------------------------------------------------ Shalko stared at Kazrah as she demonstrated her powers. "KAZRAH!!"
**I forgot. Kazrah also healed, mostly Tarmo. She fixed his bone halfway, and healed his wounds a lot more, but only so it looked like a powerful healing potion thing..***
Treefrog nodded her approval. "FOr me, powers just seem to come to me. I can control the ones I know of, but other times its just kind of an urge, and the power is there." She smiled, and paused for a moment, her green eyes glowing brighter than normal. A small flame lit inbetween the two wolves, burning nothing and no smoke rising. "Its quite interesting sometimes." Treefrog barked.
"KAZRAH!" snarled Shalko again. "What are you DOING!?!??!" "She has them too. Treefrog has the power..." whispered Kazrah as Shalko looked stunned. He seemed to recover quickly though. "Do any other wolves know or have them..?" he asked Treefrog, his eyes gentle, but mistirious, and his muscles rippling under his georgous coat of thick fur.
***FORGOT AGAIN! She also healed her mate. Duhhh...***
"Red?" Shalko backed up a few paces. He shook his head and then sat down. "I can't believe this..............You probably want to stay now, don't you..?" he muttered to Kazrah. "Now that there are more of our kind?.....Look! I wasn't meant to be in a pack!!" he suddenly burst out. "The're new wolves all the time, better wolves, strangers...! I can't handle this! It' too much. I feel like I'm suffocating! I'm supossed to be the big strong male or Alpha Male who handles everything like every female wants, but...." he stopped shouting and hung his head. "I just....can't..." he whispered in a slightly choked voice. Accepting defeat.
Shalko miserably nodded his thanks to Treefrog. Humilliated at being seen in a vulnerable position of mind. "Shalko...hold on......for now...for me....." said Kazrah softly. She stepped forward and nuzzled him on the cheek as Shalko returned the gesture. "I've really missed you." she then whispered in a choked voice. Just then, Zadahr chose the wrong moment to wake up.... "Kazrah..!?!?" he jumped to his feet snarling at Shalko. ***Add something. make Treefrog do something RASH and DARING!! -lol- ***
What do you mean STILL be mates!? Is there something I should know about..? lol*** (They should become mates. That would be a good idea. And then after they are mates, Sohomah should see Treefrog do something-with her powers- and she should freak cous he saw her and nobody else was sopossed to and then he will calm her down and be like -nono! I ws just shocked because...I have them too. Another blooper. I meant that Zadahr is soon to BECOME her mate. Not he is. I had already made. *ahem* reservations....* (I can't post this all together because it's too long. So here's part one. lolz.)
"Shalko...What are YOU doing here?!" Zadahr snarled, and took a step forward in a threatening manner. Shalko smirked at him. "I am a member of this pack and YOU are on MY territory. And besides. I was talking to my sister." Shalko replied, totally calm and without hesitation. "Rah! You and I both know you wouldn't join a pack! You left your sister when she needed the most help. Don't pretend like you are so powerfull and justly!" *is that a word...? Justly..?* "You're one to talk! You call yourself Kazrah's FRIEND? To-Be-Mate? BEST friend? HAH! You were too stupid to realize the most impostant thing!" Shalko snarled, hackles raising. Kazrah stared at the two snarling wolves, part scared, part in admeration of Shalko, and part enjoying the feeling that two wolves were FIGHTING for her. Zadahr snarled back at Shalko, "'Most important thin'. What? You just figured out how to think? Oh wait. Nope. That can't be it-" Shalko bowled him over easily and flipped him on his back. He then held the struggling wolf while he pressed his face close to his. He looked amazing as his fur was lightly blowing in the wind, and his powerful muscles easily holding a huge wolf down. "No..." he bent lower till his muzzle was almost touching the enraged wolf. "Kazrah and I...arn't littermates." he said softly, and then neatly stepped off Zadahr and over to Kazrah, who looked astonished and thrilled, and then stepped hal beside her, half in front of her. Zadahr jumped to his feet, snarling and snapping with rage. "You think that'll change anything!?" he snapped, regaining his dignity as he stood a few paces from Shalko and Kazrah. "Zadahr......It changes EVERYTHING!" he whispered as he stepped closer to Kazrah. He gazed at her and she returned it. Zadahr stared at them both for a moment. "A fight to the death for her then, foxheart!" Shalko smiled. "You don't want to do this-" he began, but Zadahr was already hurtling towards his face snarling. Shalko, trained by nature and watching others, easily blocked him and flipped him on his back as easily as if he were a pup. "You're at my mercy. And again, I will allow you another chance." he jumped off of him and crouched, a few steps away from him. Kazrah and stepped back till she and Treefrog were side by side. She quivered a little as she watched them. Zadahr leapt to his feet again. "You filthy scum." he snarled at Shalko. Shalko pretended to yawn and look bored. "Yeah yeah, stop stalling and fight like you mean it!" he growled. Zadahr made a false attack, leaping at him but at the last second dropping and lunging at him from underneath. Shalko blocked that too and easily had him on his back again. "Where DID you learn to fight?" Shalko smirked at the upside down, shocked face beneath his huge paws. "Hah! Where did I learn? You said it was a fight to the death! An-" "Genious. YOU said it was fight to the death, not me. And if I killed you, what would we have to laugh at anymore?" he interupted tauntingly. Zadahr looked furious. "Y-.......you win. Now get off of me!" Zadahr suddenly snarled. "No. Not until you swear, although I don't know how long THAT'LL last!, that you will never return to my- this territory." Shalko interupted again. Zadahr's jaws ground together in anger. "I swear I will never return to this territory again." he snarled irritated and furious. Shalko stepped of of him. "Remember. I could have killed you multipul times." "You're not wolf enough to kill anything!" barked Zadahr as he broke into a run towards the forest. Kazrah suddenly gave a cry of happyness and ran towards Shalko. Shalko hurried towards her also. They both nuzzled each other for a moment before Shalko stepped back for a second. He lifted his head and watched the retreating figure and then gave a loud long howl of triumph.
Treefrog stayed back, unsure if at this point, she should say something or vanish into the trees. Red made that descision for her. He slunk out of the shadows next to her, and sat down, watching with her. With a single look, Treefrog communicated what was going on, and that they knew about their powers. Red nodds, his eyes bright but his face sincere. Treefrog stared at his eyes, feeling a bit awkward. For a very long time, she had liked Red before Sohomah had been in the picure. Since then, things had been very different, but she still liked him, just not as much as Sohomah. (U know what I mean! Good ideas, btw, i think that they'll work)

Tarmo leaped forward as one of the wolf raced by after Kira, grabbing the wolf by one of its legs.

------------(same Time)-----Shalko slowed to a trot. The fighting noise had stopped a moment ago and he wondered what was happening. Then a thougt struck him. What if the Hunting Pack had been seriously hurt? What was going on..? he broke into a run again, ready to attack.
"You jumped out at us snarling, what were we supposed to think?!?" Treefrog snarled, barring her fangs. She knew she was a well-trained fighter and could take out Kazrah if she wanted to.
ReplyDelete"Rahhh!! Well We're NOT enemy's and-" she highlighted each word, "MY MATE NEEDS HELP!! I'll leave as soon as you fix what you've broken!" she snarled, taking a step forward in a threatning manner. "beings how you DID start it..." she snarled softly.
ReplyDeleteTreefrog growled, "Well, if you want your mate healed, you'd better be carefull. OUr healer is missing, and as far as I can tell, I am the only other wolf here who knows healing, due to my birth pack. If you fight me, your mate WILL die."
ReplyDelete"You...." Kazrah spluttered, looking for words powerful enough to express her rage.
ReplyDelete"IF MY MATE DIES..!!!!" she snalrled she threw herself forwards, teeth bared and hackles raised.
"Kazrah!!" a flash of brownish grey streaked over and knocked Kazrah to the ground.
"Kazrah...Would you go so low...?" Shalko stood, his fur blowing gently in the mild wind, his eyes burning with some expression..something between hatred and love...
Treefrog snarled at Shalko and Karzah, "Get off of her. Kazrah, if you make another move tawreds any of my pack, I will walk away and let your mate die.
ReplyDeleteTarmo watched the fight, his vision blurring, his wounds bleeding heavily, feeling his life drain away.He knew he didnt have to much longer unless he got medical attention, but refused to interupt Treefrog.
Zadahr awakened groggily. His wounds were still bleeding freely and he moaned in pain...

"Kazrah. I made a promise....don't make me regret it. Get up and let her help Zadahr. And stop threatening Treefrog!" he snarled as she gave a snarl at the small black wolf.
Kazrah dipped her head in submission.
"Just save him...don't let him die!" she whispered.
Treefrog nodded, and turned to Shalko. "Get me long, stong ferns and cobwebs." She sniffed, and quickly found some herbs, and applied them to both Zadahr and Tarmo. She glared at Kazrah the entire time, as if daring her to attack.
ReplyDelete"Wipe that smirk that smirk off your face!" snapped Kazrah suddenly. Shalko cuffed her over the head and then turned too Treefrog. he tried to avoid eye contact and spoke quietly.
ReplyDelete"She's a...friend of mine..I swore to protect her...........That's all....." he turned and ran towards the deeper forest to collect suplies for the wounded.
Treefrog growled quietly to herslef. "I dont care how good a frind she is to anybody, if she makes one move tawred me, she'll get some pretty good scars/" she countinued her work, trying to recall what she learned as a healer trainee in her old pack.
ReplyDelete"Oh stop acting like your the best or only trained fighter for hundereds of packs around!" Kazrah snarled, hackles beginning to raise again.
ReplyDelete"Well, im the only trained Healer within saving distance of you mate." Treefrog replied, and stopped working on Zadahr before she was done, moving to Tarmo and focusing only on him.
ReplyDelete"You low-down..----RAHH!!!" Kazrah was filled with rage. She hurled herself at the smaller black wolf and sank her teeth into her neck. she felt blood pour from a new wound and she began to kick and claw her as hard as she could.
ReplyDeleteTreefrog fought back, leaping out of the way of some of her attacks. She grabbed Kazrah by the nack, refusing to let go, feeling the blood pour from the other she-wolf's neck.
ReplyDeleteSuddenly Kazrah fell backwards off of Treefrog with a startled yelp. She lay still on the ground, sides heaving. She whimpered a few times.
ReplyDeleteTreefrog back up from Kazrah, stubling dizzly, blood pouring from a wound on her side. She panted heavily, her eyes blazing with fury.
ReplyDelete"Stop! We can't fight at a time like this. We have Sunset missing, Treefrog, you are the only healer but I know Bracken, one of Night's pups wants to be a healer so train him for a moon so he can be at camp and shoot!" Then Dawn saw Treefrog dieing.

"Dawn can you run back to camp or Shalko go to camp, run tell Spirit, Tell and Night that we have to have help now or Treefrog, Tarmo and your friend." Dusk nodded to Kazrah's friend."Can die at any second, see if you can have them bring Bracken and tell Night and Tell, that he might be the only wolf, even if he is a pup that he could save them. Then we'll decide what to do." Dusk looked from Shalko to Dawn.

ReplyDeleteKazrah jumped to her paws, blood covered her but she wasn't yelping because of that. On the ground, near Treefrog, and between Kazrah, was a huge coiled up Dimondback Rattlesnake. It had struck Kazrah on the head and now it was moving back and forth, staring into the eyes of Treefrog. Kazrah stumbled backwards, leaving a trail of blood as she attemped to get out of the snake's range of striking distance. The snake struck again before she was far enough and got her on the neck. Kazrah shrieked again and fell to the groun. The snake began to slither towards her....

Shalko came rushing back, hearing the scream and howls of agony.
"WHATS GOING ON!?!?" he shouted as the ighting stopped. Then as Kazrah got up he saw the Snake...
"Hey, you!!*refering to Dusk* The Snake!" Shalko yelped as Dusk almost trodded on it. He leaped over and landed neatly on the flatned slithering snake, it twisted ot free itself but Shalko had another trick up his paw. He quickly did something to the snake, out of sight of the others and suddenly it was dead. Not even twitching like usuall. He then turned around, looking embarressed and completely humiliated at another encounter with the new pack he had joined.
He gritted his teeth and dragged Kazrah up to her feet.
"Listen, Foxbrain! You've caused me enough trouble and...trouble! I made that idiotic promise and if you dont keep your stupid powers to yourself...I don't know what I'll do! Look what you've done! Injured many wolves from my new pack and almost gone and killed yourself and your mate! Get a grip, will you!?" he snarled in her face as she glared up at him defiantly.
"Just because you-" he voice broke.
"You think it's easy to control it? You have it too! You know what it's like!! I can't help it!" she shouted back at him as tears poured down her face.
"Listen, Kazrah....they can't know!" he whispered, barley audable.
"Just..try. For me..." he whispered again.
"I'm going back to your..the camp. I'll get..Spirit and return quickly as possible!" he then whirled around, coat gleaming and mucles rippling. His long fur swept back by the wind. And then his large powerful paws took him speeding accross the ground at an incredible pace for a wolf. And then...he was gone...
Kazrah stared at the ground for a moment and then finally looked up.
"Treefrog............I'm sorry....I really am.." she whispered, her eyes full of tears, along with scincerity.
Treefrog had sat down, dizzily, rocking slightly. She tried to focus on Kazrah, then Dusk and Dawn. "Leave." se told them sakily. After they left, she tried to focus back on Karzah. "You have powers too?" she asked, her voice sounding distant.

"C-..Can i trust you..?" she whispered. Then, realizing that sounded stupid she said quietly,
"Shalko and I met a long time ago. We both were only pups and found out we had secret powers. Our parents hadn't wanted to tell us until we could control them, and so when we found out, she had to explain everything. When my mother was brutally beaten, she made Shalko promise to protect me. He did. He may seem very distant, pridefull and irritated, but he is..." her eyes lit up and love and admeration shone in them. "We loved each other....But we couldn't be mates. Zadahr met me and we became friends. My mother was already dead and we had to pretend that Shalko was my brother. I began to love Zadahr, and now he is my mate..." she finished while stying to stop the blood flow from her neck.

"When I was young, in my birth pack, I found out that my family had powers. at first, Nothing really happened, but my mother and father trained me and my two brothers secretly. We elearned to use out powers, but I still became a healer apprentice. One day, some how, our secret came out. My mother, father, aunt, cousins, and brothers were killed, but the Alpha had taken a liking to me, and wanted me to train as his apprentice and one day become the alpha female. The alpha male was brutal, and I hated him, so I ran. I trained for a while, then came here." Treefrog said this all quickly and quietly, her mussles tense, but she still looked dizzy.
*****lol! I didn't really, PLAN but I was like, 'ya know what.....! What the heck!!' I was hoping you wouldn't tell me off for putting like, magical powers in the story. :) By the way....I'm not even sure WHAT powers they have!!*******

"I guess we do have something in common..! We need to get healed up..Oh..On eof my powers is that....I...I sort of have....multipule lives... I can't....die very easily...And I am a natural fighter. I don't have to train......Most of the time it's just pretending... What about you?"

ReplyDeleteTreefrog looked slightly nervous. "I kind of have many powers, I guess. I cna fight any wolf and beat them, and water heals me. And i can kind of heal others with water too, sometimes, but I cant usually to not raise suspision." she looked around for a second, and pulled herself over to a tint trickling creek on the edge of the clearing. SHe dipped her paw in it, and her wounds slowly began to heal.

"I can do something simalar!" she dippepd her paw in water and then spread dirt on it. Instanly she then smudged the mud off of her paw and the fur around her legfur began blowing as if a gentle wind was blowing. It spread up her leg and then all of her was blowing She struck an impressive figure, her fur blowing in invisible wind, her eyes fierce. The wind got fiercer and then it stopped. All her wounds were healed and the matted clots of blood had gone. He fur didn't even look as if it had been in a wind storm and the blood that was hers, had left the ground, grass standing where she had trampled it...everything. She then gave a small smile at Treefrog.
"I can chose what I want it to do. I can't control the fighting power though. I will get a powerfull urge, a protective urge. It makes me a terrible...enemy. I get the most protective..It's like..the protectiveness..as If I was protecting pups. Like that protectivness." she smiled again.
"And we were both thinking we could obviously beat each other." she was grinning again.

Shalko stared at Kazrah as she demonstrated her powers.
"KAZRAH!!"
**I forgot. Kazrah also healed, mostly Tarmo. She fixed his bone halfway, and healed his wounds a lot more, but only so it looked like a powerful healing potion thing..***
ReplyDeleteTreefrog nodded her approval. "FOr me, powers just seem to come to me. I can control the ones I know of, but other times its just kind of an urge, and the power is there." She smiled, and paused for a moment, her green eyes glowing brighter than normal. A small flame lit inbetween the two wolves, burning nothing and no smoke rising. "Its quite interesting sometimes." Treefrog barked.

ReplyDelete"She has them too. Treefrog has the power..." whispered Kazrah as Shalko looked stunned. He seemed to recover quickly though.
"Do any other wolves know or have them..?" he asked Treefrog, his eyes gentle, but mistirious, and his muscles rippling under his georgous coat of thick fur.
"Red knows." Treefrog replied instantly. "He also has powers, but I dont think he really knows it."

"I can't believe this..............You probably want to stay now, don't you..?" he muttered to Kazrah. "Now that there are more of our kind?.....Look! I wasn't meant to be in a pack!!" he suddenly burst out. "The're new wolves all the time, better wolves, strangers...! I can't handle this! It' too much. I feel like I'm suffocating! I'm supossed to be the big strong male or Alpha Male who handles everything like every female wants, but...." he stopped shouting and hung his head. "I just....can't..." he whispered in a slightly choked voice. Accepting defeat.
(lol, does Sohomah have powers too? If so, Ill make Autumn have powers so its equal)

ReplyDeleteShalko miserably nodded his thanks to Treefrog. Humilliated at being seen in a vulnerable position of mind.
"Shalko...hold on......for now...for me....." said Kazrah softly. She stepped forward and nuzzled him on the cheek as Shalko returned the gesture.
"I've really missed you." she then whispered in a choked voice.
Just then, Zadahr chose the wrong moment to wake up....
"Kazrah..!?!?" he jumped to his feet snarling at Shalko.

ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean STILL be mates!? Is there something I should know about..? lol*** (They should become mates. That would be a good idea. And then after they are mates, Sohomah should see Treefrog do something-with her powers- and she should freak cous he saw her and nobody else was sopossed to and then he will calm her down and be like -nono! I ws just shocked because...I have them too. Another blooper. I meant that Zadahr is soon to BECOME her mate. Not he is. I had already made. *ahem* reservations....* (I can't post this all together because it's too long. So here's part one. lolz.)
ReplyDelete"Shalko...What are YOU doing here?!" Zadahr snarled, and took a step forward in a threatening manner. Shalko smirked at him.
ReplyDelete"I am a member of this pack and YOU are on MY territory. And besides. I was talking to my sister." Shalko replied, totally calm and without hesitation.
"Rah! You and I both know you wouldn't join a pack! You left your sister when she needed the most help. Don't pretend like you are so powerfull and justly!" *is that a word...? Justly..?*
"You're one to talk! You call yourself Kazrah's FRIEND? To-Be-Mate? BEST friend? HAH! You were too stupid to realize the most impostant thing!" Shalko snarled, hackles raising. Kazrah stared at the two snarling wolves, part scared, part in admeration of Shalko, and part enjoying the feeling that two wolves were FIGHTING for her. Zadahr snarled back at Shalko, "'Most important thin'. What? You just figured out how to think? Oh wait. Nope. That can't be it-" Shalko bowled him over easily and flipped him on his back. He then held the struggling wolf while he pressed his face close to his. He looked amazing as his fur was lightly blowing in the wind, and his powerful muscles easily holding a huge wolf down.
"No..." he bent lower till his muzzle was almost touching the enraged wolf. "Kazrah and I...arn't littermates." he said softly, and then neatly stepped off Zadahr and over to Kazrah, who looked astonished and thrilled, and then stepped hal beside her, half in front of her. Zadahr jumped to his feet, snarling and snapping with rage.
"You think that'll change anything!?" he snapped, regaining his dignity as he stood a few paces from Shalko and Kazrah.
"Zadahr......It changes EVERYTHING!" he whispered as he stepped closer to Kazrah. He gazed at her and she returned it. Zadahr stared at them both for a moment.
"A fight to the death for her then, foxheart!" Shalko smiled.
"You don't want to do this-" he began, but Zadahr was already hurtling towards his face snarling. Shalko, trained by nature and watching others, easily blocked him and flipped him on his back as easily as if he were a pup.
"You're at my mercy. And again, I will allow you another chance." he jumped off of him and crouched, a few steps away from him. Kazrah and stepped back till she and Treefrog were side by side. She quivered a little as she watched them. Zadahr leapt to his feet again.
"You filthy scum." he snarled at Shalko. Shalko pretended to yawn and look bored.
"Yeah yeah, stop stalling and fight like you mean it!" he growled. Zadahr made a false attack, leaping at him but at the last second dropping and lunging at him from underneath. Shalko blocked that too and easily had him on his back again.
"Where DID you learn to fight?" Shalko smirked at the upside down, shocked face beneath his huge paws.
"Hah! Where did I learn? You said it was a fight to the death! An-"
"Genious. YOU said it was fight to the death, not me. And if I killed you, what would we have to laugh at anymore?" he interupted tauntingly. Zadahr looked furious.
"Y-.......you win. Now get off of me!" Zadahr suddenly snarled.
"No. Not until you swear, although I don't know how long THAT'LL last!, that you will never return to my- this territory." Shalko interupted again. Zadahr's jaws ground together in anger.
"I swear I will never return to this territory again." he snarled irritated and furious. Shalko stepped of of him.
"Remember. I could have killed you multipul times."
"You're not wolf enough to kill anything!" barked Zadahr as he broke into a run towards the forest. Kazrah suddenly gave a cry of happyness and ran towards Shalko. Shalko hurried towards her also. They both nuzzled each other for a moment before Shalko stepped back for a second. He lifted his head and watched the retreating figure and then gave a loud long howl of triumph.
Treefrog stayed back, unsure if at this point, she should say something or vanish into the trees.
ReplyDeleteRed made that descision for her. He slunk out of the shadows next to her, and sat down, watching with her. With a single look, Treefrog communicated what was going on, and that they knew about their powers. Red nodds, his eyes bright but his face sincere.
Treefrog stared at his eyes, feeling a bit awkward. For a very long time, she had liked Red before Sohomah had been in the picure. Since then, things had been very different, but she still liked him, just not as much as Sohomah.
(U know what I mean! Good ideas, btw, i think that they'll work)
Shalko nuzzled Kazrah again and then nodded to Treefrog.
