Night trotted and saw a rabbit and signaled with her tail to Tell. Then she chased the rabbit around and then finally got it to runs strait at Tell who killed it. ~Night
"Still, good job." Tell looked down at rabbit. He sniffed the air, and toom off after a rabbit with amazing speed. He killed it with a swift bite, then brough it back to where Night was.
Tell nodded, and smiled. He felt comfortable around Night, much more comfortable than he felt with the rest of the pack. Would she overlook his differences?
Night bit into the rabbit once again and slowly started to chew thinking hard. Why was she nicer to Tell then any other wolf besides Spirt, Dawn and Dusk. ~Night
Tell saw Night's sadness, and moved closer to her. He thought of his mother, who was half dog, and his father, a full blood wolf. He remembered his shock and sadness when he had found he had taken after his mother while the rest of his siblings looked like full-blood wolves. He remembered her sisblings being accepted into packs while he was forced to stay with his parents. He remembered clearly when his mother and father had been shot by hunters. He also remember the joy of joining Miraclepack, and being accepted. Tell relized tha much of his happiness came from being with Night, He turned to her. "Night? I uhh...reallt like you..."
Tell nodded, not mentioning that his own family would never know. He stood up. "Lets go to camp. Thats proboly where we'll find all of them." They padded in that direction. (Next post in camp clearing)

Tell smiled, his amber eyes sparkling. "Would you like to eat?" he asked, looking down at the two rabbits.
ReplyDelete"Sure." Night looked at a rabbit and bit into it's flank, then she passed it to Tell.

Tell took a bit out of the flank. "Its good." he barked, trying to come up with conversation.
ReplyDelete"Yeah, but I miss having deer. My father was good at tracking them and then catching them."

Tell nodded. "There are deer here, but right now, there are no herds passing through. We just to wait a bit, and they'll come back."

Tell finished the meat of his rabbit, and began chewing on one of the bones. He wished he could tell Night how he felt.
ReplyDeleteNight looked at the sky, it was so close so sunset, her mothers name, Sunset. She started to get sad so she moved closer to Tell.
